Monthly Meeting Status:
The board has discussed moving our monthly meetings for the 2012-2013 year. The board has also discussed changing to quarterly meetings, as well. If anyone has a suggestion on somewhere else they would like us consider for our meetings, please call Dan Meyers at 616-719-4800.**TRAINING NOTICE
The Grand Rapids Branch has set aside $1,600 for Branch members to use as a training scholarship program toward any AESF sponsored courses in the 2011-2012 year. There will be 4 scholarships at $400 maximum each, on a first come, first serve basis. To qualify, the board voted that no more than 2 members from any one company will be eligible. The candidate, new or existing, must be a Grand Rapids Branch NASF member and will need to submit, in writing, what class they wish to attend, when they are to attend the class, how the candidate can benefit the company they work for by taking this class, and how the class will help their career in metal finishing. Send the information to our Education Chairperson, Graham Torr in writing or e-mail so that she may submit the letters to the Board of Directors for approval.Education Chair:
